Thad Smith

Thad Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in identity and access management, currently serving as VP of Solution Architecture at Clear Skye since May 2021. Prior roles include Principal Consultant and Principal Engineer at Sirius Computer Solutions, where Thad led a team in addressing complex challenges for a diverse clientele. As a Senior Architect for HHSC, Thad directed the implementation of identity and access management infrastructure across multiple Texas state agencies. Thad's earlier career includes positions such as Security Architect at Ascendant Technology, Technical Architect at Perficient, and various engineering roles at IBM and other companies, demonstrating a strong background in software engineering, middleware applications, and network management. Thad holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
