Rajas Deshpande

Rajas Deshpande has worked in the tech industry since 2017. Rajas began their career at IBM, where they were part of the Global Remote Mentoring Program and led a team of four people in designing an Intelligent Waste Segregator using Machine Learning, Image Processing, and IoT techniques. In 2019, they joined ClearBlade, Inc. as a Data Scientist Intern, working on the Integration of Machine Learning with the ClearBlade IoT Platform. Rajas created an IoT package manager that allowed users to select a dataset from the ClearBlade Collections, extract meaningful features, preprocess the dataset and then train the data by providing the necessary hyperparameters. In 2020, Rajas was promoted to Software Engineer at ClearBlade, Inc.

Rajas Deshpande completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2014 and 2018. Rajas then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Rajas Deshpande has obtained several certifications from Coursera and DataCamp, including Server-side Development with NodeJS, Express and MongoDB, Front-End Web Development with React, Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools: Bootstrap 4, Data Visualization with Python, Python for Data Science, SQL For Data Science, Supervised Learning with scikit-learn, and Go Programming Language. Rajas also obtained an IBM GRM certification in June 2018, as well as a Smart India Hackathon certification from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways - India.
