Mike Flowers

Mike Flowers, CFA has extensive work experience in the investment industry. Mike is currently working as a Vice President and Senior Analyst in Portfolio Analytics at ClearBridge Investments since March 2021. Previously, from October 2019 to May 2020, they served as a Senior Data and Research Analyst at Truvalue Labs, where they played a key role in shaping ESG content and co-authored a white paper. Mike also worked as a Finance Contractor at Breakaway Energy Partners for a brief period in 2019.

Prior to these roles, Mike worked at ClearBridge Investments from March 2015 to August 2016 in various positions. As a Vice President and Senior Analyst, they provided analytical and reporting solutions, and their expertise contributed to doubling the assets under management. Mike also served as a Vice President and Quantitative Analyst, where they designed and developed internal performance reports and led the migration of a flagship mutual fund. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Vice President and Trade Support Analyst, providing trade support and liaising with traders, broker/dealers, and custodians.

Before joining ClearBridge Investments, Mike worked at Citigroup Asset Management as a Portfolio Accountant from August 2002 to December 2005, where they performed portfolio accounting and database management tasks.

Mike Flowers, CFA holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia. Furthermore, they have received the FSA Credential from the SASB - Sustainability Accounting Standards Board in June 2019. Recently, in May 2021, they completed the Berkeley Data Analytics Boot Camp offered by UC Berkeley Extension.
