John Uecker MD, FACS

John Uecker, MD, FACS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Additionally, Dr. Uecker worked as a Robotic Surgery Proctor at Intuitive and served on the medical advisory board at Alafair. John was also an original Board member at MedtoMarket, a bio-skills labs and training company.

Before their time at Dell Medical School and these other organizations, Dr. Uecker worked as a General Surgeon at Seton Surgical Group and Brackenridge Hospital. John also had previous experience in the US Navy, where they served as a Trauma Surgeon, Ship Surgeon on the USS Enterprise, and Battalion Surgeon.

John Uecker MD, FACS completed their Bachelor's Degree from The University of Texas at Austin from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Texas Medical Branch, graduating between the years 1989 and 1993. John further pursued their education at Methodist Hospitals of Dallas, where they completed a General Surgery Internship from 1993 to 1994 and a General Surgery Residency from 1996 to 2001.
