The Account Manager - Partnerships will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our strategic partners. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to managing accounts, ensuring partners are engaged, informed, and satisfied with our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the small business lending landscape.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
    • Develop and execute strategies to strengthen existing partnerships
    • Regularly communicate with partners to provide updates on products, services, and promotions
    • Schedule weekly, bi-weekly or monthly meetings
    • Conduct regular review meetings with partners to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations
    • Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing and promotional activities
    • Organize and participate in partner events, webinars, and conferences to strengthen relationships and increase brand awareness
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships, providing regular reports and insights to internal teams
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth within each partnership
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and biz-ops teams to ensure alignment and support for partnership initiatives
    • Coordinate with the customer support team to address any partner-related issues promptly and effectively
    • Provide feedback from partners to help shape product development and marketing strategies
  • Market Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for partnerships
    • Conduct market research to support the development of new partner programs and initiatives

You will thrive if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, business development, or partnership management, preferably within the financial services or small business lending industry
  • Proven track record of managing and growing strategic partnerships
  • Strong understanding of small business lending products and services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
