Angela Smith-Hietikko

Angela Smith-Hietikko has a strong background in healthcare and leadership roles. Angela is currently working as Vice President at Clearlink Partners since December 2021. Prior to that, from 2017 onwards, they served as CEO and Owner at ADS Health Innovations LLC, where they provided consulting services in leadership, healthcare, and strategic planning. Angela also worked as Staff Vice President at Anthem, Inc. from March 2021 to February 2022. Before that, they held various roles at Beacon Health Options, including Associate Vice President and AVP Clinical Quality, from August 2019 to March 2021. Angela also worked at Priority Health as Advisor, Analytics Program Management from June 2018 to August 2019. Angela has earlier experience as Director, Systems Development at Centra Wellness from November 2016 to July 2017. From 1998 to 2016, they had a long tenure at Priority Health, holding positions such as Director, Behavioral Health; Associate Vice President, Medical Operations; Director, Wellness and Behavioral Health Services; and Director, Health Management and Behavioral Health Services. Angela began their career as a Hospital Liaison at Livingston County Community Mental Health from February 1995 to April 1998, and prior to that, they worked as an Inpatient Case Manager at McLaren Regional Medical Center from September 1994 to February 1995.

Angela Smith-Hietikko pursued their education by first obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Sociology from the University of Michigan, attending from 1986 to 1990. Angela then furthered their education by earning a Master's degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, where they studied from 1992 to 1994.
