Jarett Creason has a diverse work experience in the computer software industry. Jarett started their career as a Database and Object Technology Intern at Oregon Graduate Institute in 2004. Jarett then worked as a CS/CSE Intern at Planar Systems, where they collaborated with engineering, sales, and marketing teams on the DS15 product line.
In 2005, Jarett joined Mentor Graphics as a Software Engineer. Jarett was responsible for creating and supporting an internal automated build system using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and Perl/PHP). Jarett also provided daily support to other company engineers using the system.
After that, they worked as a Software Developer at Chockstone, where they fixed existing issues and added functionality to the frontend using PHP, HTML, and JavaScript. Jarett also contributed to planning meetings for system performance and scalability.
Jarett then joined Xerox Corporation as a Software Developer. Jarett configured and maintained engineering test systems, resolving system issues and achieving optimum system uptime. Jarett also developed code in Perl for execution across multiple servers.
In 2015, Jarett became the Director of Software Engineering at ClearlyRated. Jarett managed and led a team of software engineers in designing and implementing web-based survey and reporting applications. Jarett also led the team in Agile programming methodologies for better deliverable deadlines. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of VP of Engineering.
Throughout their career, Jarett has demonstrated strong technical skills in databases, Java, and building effective teams. Jarett holds a Master's Degree focused on AI & Computer Science from Portland State University.
Jarett Creason obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from George Fox University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Jarett further pursued their education by completing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Portland State University from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Jarett Creason obtained a National D Coaching License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in April 2023.
