Lorna Mayer

Lorna Mayer is the VP of Finance, HR, and UK Operations at ClearMotion. Lorna has been with the company since July 2017 and in their current role since April 2022. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director of UK Operations, where they were responsible for launching the UK entity of the VC-funded auto-tech start-up.

Under their leadership, the company has successfully scaled people operations to 58 employees and instituted HR policies, an employee appraisal system, and employee handbooks. Lorna has also fostered a cohesive culture and managed recruitment efforts, interview processes, and new hire onboarding/orientation.

In addition, Lorna has overseen the £6million budget and prepared annual forecasts that have been within 5% since inception. Lorna has also lead the successful R&D return to the government each year and compiled pertinent financial information and strategic roadmaps for monthly UK Board meetings.

Lorna Mayer has a background in business and accounting, having studied at Babington Business College. Lorna also has their 9 GCSE's, including Maths and English, from Cannock Chase High School. In addition, they have completed training in Situational Leadership II (SLII) Powering Inspired Leaders Training from The Ken Blanchard Companies.
