Taylor Childress

Taylor Childress is a seasoned professional in government affairs and legislative processes, currently serving as the Government Affairs Manager at ClearPath since July 2023. Previously, Taylor completed a Master of Science in Energy and Sustainability Engineering from Northwestern University while also working as a Senior Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives from August 2018 to August 2022. During this time, key responsibilities included spearheading initiatives in the Energy, Climate and Conservation Task Force, coordinating with federal agencies, and drafting significant legislation prioritizing environmental issues. Additional experience encompasses various legislative roles, including Acting Legislative Director and Deputy Chief of Staff, where Taylor managed the House Armed Services Committee portfolio. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of the South and studies at the University of Oxford.
