Aleksandra Ovalle

Aleksandra Ovalle has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of user experience and visual design. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Digital Design Lead at TBWA\Auckland for over a year. In 2016, they served as the Lead Digital Designer at Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited for three months. From April to November 2017, they worked as a Lead UX & UI Designer at BravaTrak, focusing on the product design of a leadership analytics and activity tracking system. In 2017, they also worked as a Senior Digital Designer at Auckland Airport for three months. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Senior UX & UI Designer at Tower Insurance. Starting in July 2019, they worked at Vector Limited as a Lead UX Designer for three months. From October 2019 to May 2020, they worked as a User Experience Lead at AMP New Zealand, responsible for leading the UX design for the AMP Mobile application. Since July 2019, they have been working at ClearPoint as a Senior Experience and Visual Designer. Their most recent role is as a Senior User Experience Designer at Contact Energy Ltd, starting in April 2022. Throughout their career, Aleksandra has demonstrated expertise in user interface design, user experience design, and leading design teams.

Aleksandra Ovalle has a diverse education history. Aleksandra obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media Technologies from Technological University Dublin, where they attended from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2005, they studied at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and earned a BSc in Computing, Multimedia.

In addition to their formal education, Aleksandra Ovalle has also obtained several certifications. Aleksandra completed a course on Mobile User Experience (UX) Design from The Interaction Design Foundation in March 2022. In November 2020, they completed a course on User Research – Methods and Best Practices from the same institution. Aleksandra also holds a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation, which they obtained in May 2020.
