Vinnie Cao

Vinnie Cao is currently an Identity Engineer at Optiv + ClearShark and has over seven years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineering Team Lead at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. In this role, Vinnie contributed to threat and vulnerability management, developed cloud security strategies, and implemented endpoint protection solutions while ensuring compliance with federal standards. Vinnie has also previously worked as a Cyber Security Endpoint SME at DynTek, where they supported various organizations with cybersecurity engineering and compliance assessments. Vinnie holds an Associates of Science in Network & Systems Administration from IntelliTec Colleges and is pursuing a degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University.
