Christophe Duchêne has a long and varied career in the aerospace industry. Christophe began their career in 1992 as a PhD student and engineer at both ONERA and Snecma. In 1993, they took on the role of Officer Brigade Sapeurs-Pompiers de Paris (BSPP). In 1995, they became a System Engineer at Airbus. From 2002 to 2022, they worked at Eutelsat, taking on the roles of Director of Satellite Programmes, Director of European Satellite Programmes, Satellite Programme & Launcher Procurement Manager, System Engineering Manager, and Spacecraft Operations Engineer. In 2022, they moved to ClearSpace, taking on the role of Chief Programs Officer.
Christophe Duchêne obtained a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Thermique Energétique & Matériaux from Polytech Nantes in 1991. In 1993, they obtained the CCGI, CFA PSE, CFA PSR, and BNPS certifications from the Brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris (BSPP). Christophe then earned a Doctorat in Mecanique des fluides from Ecole centrale de Nantes in 1995. Lastly, they obtained the rank of Officier Armée Terre in Génie from EAG Angers.
