Space Systems Engineer at ClearSpace

Conor Ryan started their professional career in 2016 as a General Assistant for Cullen Insurances. Conor then held the role of Student/Staff Engineering Class representative at University College Dublin. In the same year, they also worked as an Engineering Class Representitive for UCD Students' Union (UCDSU). In 2017, they became a Brand Ambassador for Grooveyard Event Management. The following year, they worked as a Yacht Maintenance Technician for North West Coastal Charters. In 2019, they took on the role of Bartender/Server at Balboa Bay Resort. In 2020, they worked as a Manufacturing Process Engineer for Technopath Clinical Diagnostics, as well as a Clean Space Programme - Sustainability in Space for the European Space Agency - ESA. In 2021, they became a Graduate Research Scholar at the Autonomous Vehicle Systems laboratory as part of the Europe-Colorado Mobility Program. Conor is currently working as a Space Systems Engineer for ClearSpace since 2022.

Conor Ryan began their educational journey in 2010 at Villiers Secondary School, where they earned a Leaving Certificate in 2016. Conor then attended University College Dublin, where they earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 2019. In 2021, they were an International Research Scholar at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying Aerospace Engineering. Conor is currently enrolled at Delft University of Technology, where they are pursuing an MSc in Aerospace Engineering.
