Junior Simulator Developer Engineer at ClearSpace

Liam Pieters began their career in 2019 as an Internship Trainee at the European Space Agency - ESA in Darmstadt, Germany. During their internship, they conducted research on alternative methods to perform collision avoidance maneuvers for satellites or debris in a collision course. In 2022, they joined ClearSpace as a Junior Simulator Developer Engineer.

Liam Pieters obtained their Middelbare School from Gemeentelijk Gymnasium Hilversum between 2006 and 2012. Liam then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Astronomy (Astronomy and Astrophysics) from University of Amsterdam between 2012 and 2015. Liam then continued their education with a Master's degree in Physics and Astronomy with the track Gravitation Astroparticle Physics Amsterdam from University of Amsterdam between 2016 and 2018. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering with the track Space Exploration from Delft University of Technology between 2018 and 2020.
