Stefano Cipolla

Stefano Cipolla has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Stefano started their career as a System Engineer at Carlo Gavazzi Space in 2002, where they worked on the realization of a satellite for telecommunications. Stefano later joined BREMBO Spa in 2007 as a System Engineer before returning to Carlo Gavazzi Space in 2008, where they worked on the PRISMA satellite project.

In 2011, Stefano joined OHB-Compagnia Generale per lo Spazio as an Instrument System Engineer, focusing on the development and verification of the METIS instrument for the solar orbiter mission. Stefano also served as a Payload System Engineer for a project on Very High Resolution Optical Earth Observation.

Stefano then moved to OHB Italia S.p.A. in 2016, working as an Instrument System Engineer and later as a Satellite Platform Program Manager. Stefano coordinated the production and testing activities of satellite units and successfully delivered them.

From 2018 to 2020, Stefano worked at OHB Italia S.p.A. as a Project Manager. Stefano managed the project set-up and control for the NAOS Earth Observation satellite project, including schedule definition and monitoring, team coordination, milestone identification, and customer management.

Most recently, Stefano joined ClearSpace SA in 2020 as a Project Manager.

Stefano Cipolla pursued their higher education from 1995 to 2002 at Politecnico di Milano. During this period, they studied aerospace and completed a degree in Ingegneria aerospaziale.
