Kapil Chopra has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Software Engineer at Amdocs and later as a Team Leader at GlobalLogic. In 2005, they joined Headstrong Ltd / Morgan Stanley as a Senior Software Engineer. Kapil then moved on to Bank of America as a Senior Software Engineer in 2007, before transitioning to FuzeDigital as a Lead Software Engineer. In 2008, they joined E*TRADE Financial as a Principal, Software Engineering/Technical Lead, where they led the design and development of the server-side development for the Etrade online advisor platform. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at GE as a Senior Manager, leading the development and delivery of IoT-enabled applications and capabilities. In 2015, they founded NinjaRater.com and served as the Founder and CTO, successfully exiting with a sale to private equity. In 2018, they worked at Workday as a Manager, specifically in customer deployment tools. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Software Engineering at Clearspeed, where they use ground-breaking language-neutral voice technology to help customers clear risks efficiently.
Kapil Chopra attended Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology from 1997 to 2001. Kapil earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics during that time. In addition to their formal education, Kapil also obtained certifications in "Coaching New Managers" from LinkedIn in May 2021 and "Clearspeed" from Clearspeed in January 2020.
