Damien Stewart

Damien Stewart has a strong background in IT and cybersecurity. Damien is currently working at ClearStar, Inc. as the VP of IT, CISO, where they lead the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures. Prior to this, Damien was the Deputy CISO at ClearStar and the Director of Cybersecurity, where they focused on leading the company through compliance processes and building an effective cybersecurity practice. Before joining ClearStar, Damien worked as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Travelport and held various roles at IBM, including Lead Engineer, Senior System Administrator, and System Administrator. Damien also has experience working as a Systems Engineer II at BlueWave Computing and as an IT Consultant at iTech Atlanta and 3PD, Inc. Damien's early career includes roles at Fastenal, where they served as a General Branch Manager and Assistant Manager and also worked in shipping and packing. Damien's expertise lies in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance.

Damien Stewart completed their education as follows:

- From 2007 to 2010, they pursued a Master's degree in Management of Information Technology at Southern Polytechnic State University.

- Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they studied Information Technology and obtained a Bachelor's degree at Middle Georgia State University.

In terms of certifications, they have obtained multiple certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2022, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2021, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in August 2017, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in March 2013, and qualifications in Windows Server and networking. Damien has also obtained certifications from Palo Alto Networks and VMware, among others.
