Scott Hopkins has over 40 years of work experience in various roles within the information technology field. Scott started their career in 1976 as a Program Analyst and Computer Operator at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, where they worked on the implementation and support of a new Medicare Part B system. Scott also provided application support on the legacy Medicare Part A system. From 1981 to 1988, they worked at COMSERV, INCORPORATED as a Systems Analyst and Project Manager, managing teams and providing analysis on the development of manufacturing systems. At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota from 1988 to 1994, they worked as a Business Consultant and Project Manager, providing consulting services to executive staff and managing the development of statistical reporting applications. From 1994 to 1998, they worked as a Consultant at GE Capital, where they worked with various companies in developing and testing software systems. At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota from 1998 to 2005, they served as the Director of Information Technology, overseeing the development and implementation of analytic warehouses and managing business intelligence tool teams. Since 2005, they have been the Information Technology Director at ClearStone Solutions, Inc., where they manage the Medicare and Medicaid area, supporting Blue Cross's largest account.
Scott Hopkins earned their Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Minnesota from 1975 to 1978. Scott later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia University-St. Paul between 1991 and 1993.
