Angela Birdthistle

Angela Birdthistle has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Head of Sales Operations at Clearstream since October 2014, where previous roles included Head of Unit for RM and Sales Support and Investment Onboarding Officer. With a strong background in customer transition management, Angela's prior experience includes positions such as Client Associate for South Europe and Asia, focusing on custodial banking services, corporate actions, and middle office operations. Before Clearstream, Angela worked at Citco Global Securities Services Ltd. as a Client Associate/Custody Administrator and held a role as a Part-Time Teaching Assistant at the University of Limerick, teaching Risk Management and Insurance. Angela's earlier experience includes a fund accounting internship at State Street and customer service roles at VHI and Oxygen.ie. Angela holds a Master’s degree in Financial Services and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Economics, and Finance, both from the University of Limerick.
