Angie Watts is a licensed real estate agent and contributing writer who has extensive experience in the financial industry.

Angie began their career in 2013 as a senior insurance analyst for insuranceQuotes, where they worked as a consumer advocate and spokesperson. In this role, they represented the company to the media and created informational content for consumers.

In 2017, Angie joined U.S. News & World Report as a contributing writer for their MyMoney blog. In this role, they wrote monthly personal finance articles on topics such as insurance, retirement, credit, family finances, money management, and self-employment.

Angie is also the host of the Money Girl podcast, which is produced by Macmillan. In this role, they provide listeners with actionable tips and advice on a variety of personal finance topics.

Angie Watts graduated from The University of the South with a BS. Angie then went on to get their MBA in marketing from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.
