Katy Sandlin

Katy Sandlin is currently a Principal Consultant at Cleartelligence. Prior to that, they were a Technical Lead for Database Operations at EBSCO Information Services. Katy has been working in the analytics field for over 8 years and has been instrumental in driving thought leadership surrounding analytics within their previous company and propping up and training embedded analytics and development work within the individual teams. As a liaison between the DBOPS team and various stakeholders, Katy was responsible for helping translate requirements and ensure that the optimal people, tools, and approaches were allocated effectively. Katy also helped manage workload for team members and provided prioritization/effort sizing guidance. In their previous role, Katy also served as a liaison to other teams to help them adopt a similar Shared Service model to support their analytics and development efforts. Katy provided knowledge sharing resources and documentation to support this goal and used these partnerships to help reduce analytics duplication and ensure consistent best practices across Content Management. Katy is an expert in Tableau Desktop and creates/supports full stack web applications as needed operationally. Katy also served as Tableau Server project owner for Content Management department.
