Apurva Shetye

Apurva Shetye is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in database administration, migration to cloud environments, and systems architecture. Currently serving as the Global Database Division Lead at Clearwater Analytics since October 2020, Apurva has previously held significant roles at Edelman Financial Engines, where responsibilities included migrating multi-terabyte SQL Server databases to AWS with zero downtime and optimizing data solutions for cost savings. Earlier in the career, Apurva worked with Texas A&M University System and the University of Houston, gaining foundational expertise in database management across various versions of Microsoft SQL Server. Apurva's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
