Eric Ackerman

Eric Ackerman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Eric has held various positions related to food operations and management. In their most recent role at Clearwater Travel Plaza, they served as the Vice President of Food Operations, leading a department head management team and ensuring goals were met. Prior to that, they worked at Clearwater Travel Plaza/Nelson Bros. Restaurant as a Kitchen Manager and later as a Kitchen Coordinator. Eric also has experience as a Kitchen Manager at Waldo's Restaurant & Pizzeria and as an Executive Chef-General Manager at Park Diner. Additionally, they worked as a Foster Care Provider, providing a safe environment for foster care children. Eric also has experience as the owner of a Quiznos franchise and as a Kitchen Supervisor at Hardees. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sous Chef at O'Hara Bros. Brew Pub & Restaurant and as a TRS - Floor Coordinator at Meyer Associates.

Eric Ackerman began their education in 1997 at St. Cloud State University, where they studied Music Theory and Composition. However, they transferred to St. Cloud Technical and Community College in 1999, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training in 2021. In 2006, Eric also completed a certificate program in Franchisee Ownership/Business Operations at Quiznos University Program for Business Ownership.
