Adam Forsythe

Adam Forsythe has nine years of experience in various roles in the technology industry. Adam began their career as an Equipment Operator at R.E.T. Transportation in 2007. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Promoter and Presenter for Worlds UNBound, where they presented scientific phenomena to elementary school students. Adam then became a Woodlot Manager at Gateway Enterprises from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Forsythe joined exp Global Inc. as a Junior Geotechnical Engineer, where they worked until 2015. Adam then joined the University of New Brunswick as an Online Course Advisor, designing and managing online versions of international courses from 2010 to 2014.

Forsythe's career in the technology industry started in 2016 at IBM as a QA Engineer for the QRadar SIEM product, where they focused on QA automation and test coverage improvement. In 2017, they became a Software Engineer for the QRadar SIEM product at IBM, specializing in designing and implementing REST APIs.

Adam'sroles at IBM expanded further in 2018, when they became a Software Engineer for QRadar SIEM Integrations, revamping critical business processes. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Backend Software Engineer for QRadar SIEM, collaborating on developing a dynamic database query builder.

In 2019, they took on the role of Iteration Manager and Software Engineer for QRadar SIEM at IBM, leading the adoption of a new in-house testing framework and writing RESTful APIs. Adam then became a Product Owner and Lead Developer from 2020 to 2021, overseeing software development and contributing to the efficiency of the Query Builder framework.

Since 2021, Forsythe has been working as a Lead API Developer and Software Engineer at TECH LOCK Inc. In 2023, they are set to join Clearwater in the same role.

From 2007 to 2012, Adam attended the University of New Brunswick, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Forest Engineering. During this time, they also completed the Technology Management and Entrepreneurship Diploma Program.

Adam also holds several professional certifications from IBM, including IBM Certification Exam Developer 2019 - Level I, IBM Certified Associate Analyst - IBM QRadar SIEM V7.3.2, and IBM Certified Associate Analyst - Security QRadar SIEM V7.2.6.
