Henry Sprafkin

Henry Sprafkin has extensive work experience in the field of information security and risk management. Henry most recently served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Clearwater Compliance LLC, where they also worked as a Principal Consultant in IT Risk Management. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager at Eastern Computer Exchange and as the Director of Sales Engineering at CellTrust Corp. Henry has also worked as an IT Security and Risk Management Consultant at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, as well as Forsythe Technology. Additionally, Henry has experience as a Principle Consultant in Cybersecurity Consulting at CSC and as a Senior Security Consultant in IT Risk Management at OpenSky Corp. Henry has also held roles as a Solution Architect at Xerox Managed Services and as the Director of Security Solutions at SunGard Availability Services. Henry has demonstrated expertise in managing information security, conducting risk assessments, and providing consulting services in the cybersecurity industry.

Henry Sprafkin completed their education at American Intercontinental University. Henry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the institution in 2006. Henry then pursued a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Management from the same university, which they completed in 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Henry Sprafkin also obtained various certifications. Henry received the CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA in August 2005. In November 2001, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)². Henry also earned the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification from ISACA in July 2019.

More recently, Henry Sprafkin has pursued certifications in cloud security. In May 2021, they obtained the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance. Henry also completed three preparatory courses on cloud security offered by LinkedIn: CCSK Cert Prep: 1 Cloud Architecture, CCSK Cert Prep: 2 Infrastructure Security for Cloud, and CCSK Cert Prep: 3 Managing Cloud Security and Risk, all in May 2021.

Furthermore, they acquired multiple certifications related to threat hunting and log management practices in 2023. Henry completed the Threat Hunting Essential Training provided by LinkedIn in April 2023. Additionally, they obtained the Foundations of Threat Hunting, Fundamentals of Modern Log Management Practices, and The Absolute Beginners Guide to MITRE ATT&CK certifications, all offered by Picus Security, in 2023.

Lastly, in February 2021, Henry Sprafkin received the HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) certification from (ISC)².
