Jacob Goodson

Jacob Goodson is an experienced cybersecurity professional, currently serving as the vCISO and Principal Consultant at Clearwater since April 2022, while also being the Owner of EFEND CYBER LLC since September 2021. Previously, Jacob held the position of Information Security Officer at Republic Finance from February 2019 to October 2021, where strategic leadership in cybersecurity was provided to executive management and the board. Jacob's extensive background includes roles such as Information Security Consultant at Clearwater, Cybersecurity Practice Lead at Postlethwaite & Netterville, and Director of Technical Services and Information Security Officer at North Oaks Health System, showcasing expertise in risk assessments, incident response, HIPAA compliance, and the development of security strategies. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2001.
