Karen McDonald, CPA, CA has worked as a Vice President of Finance at Clearway Group of Companies since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional from June 2016 to March 2022. Before joining Clearway, Karen held the position of VP of Governance & Enterprise Risk at Barrick Gold Corporation from June 2004 to February 2015. Karen began their career at KPMG Canada as an Audit Senior from September 1996 to October 1998, followed by roles as a Tax Manager from November 1998 to December 2001, and as a Senior Tax Manager from January 2002 to June 2004.
Karen McDonald, CPA, CA received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Mount Allison University between 1992 and 1996.
