Carl Thomas

Carl Thomas is a seasoned basketball coach currently serving as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Cleary University since August 2022. Prior to this role, Carl held various positions, including Assistant to the Head Coach at Duquesne University from August 2017 to August 2022 and Head Men's Basketball Coach at Jackson College from August 2014 to August 2017. Previous coaching experiences include positions as Assistant Basketball Coach at Owens Community College and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Carl's extensive background in basketball also includes 13 seasons as a professional basketball player before transitioning to coaching. Carl earned a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communications from Eastern Michigan University after graduating with a diploma from Lansing Everett High School.
