Jose Alfonso Rubio Cerna has a diverse work experience starting from the year 2000. Jose Alfonso began their career at CEMEX as a Business Development Analyst and later became a Senior Business Development Analyst in the CxNetworks division. In 2005, they joined Sigma as a Strategic Planning Manager and later held various positions including General Manager of CEISA, Senior Marketing Manager, General Manager of Ready Meals, Pizza, and Beverages, and finally Vice President of Processed Meats Regional Business, Ready Meals, Pizzas & Beverages. In 2017, they joined CLEBER as the Director General of Toyota Innova and became the Chief Operating Officer in 2021. In this role, they are responsible for strategic planning, financial results reporting, and leading the largest Toyota dealership group in Mexico.
Jose Alfonso Rubio Cerna has an educational history that includes an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2003 to 2005, with a focus on finance, marketing, and management. In 2015 to 2017, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business to study organizational leadership. In 2016, they further pursued organizational leadership at The Wharton School, and also completed studies in business administration and management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained executive education in leadership and strategic impact from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. In 2011, they completed studies in marketing at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1995 to 2000. Before their university studies, they attended Portsmouth Abbey School from 1994 to 1995.
