James Greaney

James Greaney is an accomplished data professional with extensive experience in data science and insights. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer at Clemenger BBDO since March 2025, Greaney has previously held the same title at CHEP Network from February 2020 to March 2025, where roles included Head of Data Science and Chief Information Security Officer. Starting at CHE Proximity in 2012, Greaney contributed significantly to the integration of data insights within the organization, gradually advancing from Planning Director to Chief Data Officer. Previous roles include Head of Data Insights at Clemenger Proximity and Data Planner at Proximity London. Greaney's career also encompasses a stint as a Pre-sales Consultant at SAS Institute and early work as a Statistician/Programmer at AXESS Ltd. Educational credentials include an MSc in Statistics with Applications in Medicine from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Bradford.
