Heather Elders is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on patient access and education. Currently serving as a Patient Education Counselor at Clemson Eye since October 2017, Heather has previously held roles as a Patient Access Specialist at Newberry County Memorial Hospital from 2014 to 2019 and as a Patient Access Representative at Self Regional Healthcare from 2003 to 2009. Responsibilities across these positions have included managing patient check-ins, processing payments, handling billing issues, conducting interviews for various care registrations, and communicating essential information to medical staff. Heather holds a High School Diploma in General Studies from Ware Shoals High School, earned in 2002.
