Carrie Truax

Carrie Truax is an accomplished professional in the field of development and stewardship within higher education athletics. Currently serving as the Director of Development and Unit Lead for Student Affairs at Clemson University since March 2020, Carrie also holds the title of Director of Development for Parent Philanthropy. Prior experience includes positions such as Associate Director of Stewardship at the University of Tennessee, and Assistant Director for Member Services at The Rams Club. Carrie's expertise encompasses managing donor relations, executing stewardship plans, and coordinating significant fundraising events, alongside a solid foundation in athletic communications gained through previous roles with both the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Clemson University and a Master of Arts in Sport Management from West Virginia University.
