Debora Rodrigues

Debora Rodrigues currently serves as the Chair of the Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences Department at Clemson University, starting in August 2024. Rodrigues has held the position of Associate Editor for npj Clean Water since August 2018, overseeing the publication of significant research aimed at ensuring clean water supply. Previously, Rodrigues was the President of the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors from July 2023 to September 2024 and served as the Ezekiel Cullen Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston from September 2010 to August 2024, focusing on water quality and related engineering courses. Additionally, Rodrigues has experience as an NSF Program Director and held leadership roles within academic associations. Educational background includes a PhD in Microbiology from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's in Biology from Universidade de São Paulo.
