Felicia Benton-Johnson

Felicia Benton-Johnson currently serves as the Vice President for Diversity and Excellence at Clemson University, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Felicia held various significant positions at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2004 to March 2023, including Assistant Dean and Director of the College of Engineering, Director of the Center for Engineering Education and Diversity, and Director of Diversity & Outreach in the College of Engineering. Felicia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology (1989-1993) and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (1994-1996) from Tennessee State University, along with a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership with a focus on Diversity Initiatives from Argosy University Sarasota (2000-2005).
