Julio Hernandez

Julio Hernandez is an experienced leader in community outreach and inclusive excellence, currently serving as the Assistant to the President for Community Outreach & Engagement at Clemson University since January 2017. In this role, Julio develops and implements strategic plans that align with the university's priorities while acting as a liaison among diverse stakeholders. Previous positions include Assistant VP for Inclusive Excellence and Executive Director for Hispanic Outreach, focusing on promoting equity and cultural understanding within the university. Julio's background also includes leadership roles at Greenville Technical College and Toshiba Business Solutions, along with extensive experience in recruitment and job development. Julio holds a Master of Arts in Management & Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of the Incarnate Word.
