Laurie Haughey

Laurie Haughey serves as the Executive Director of Operational Communications at Clemson University since June 2017, responsible for developing and implementing internal communications that align with the University's strategic plan. Prior roles include Director of Institutional and Operational Communications and Director of Communications, where Laurie focused on enhancing organizational communication within the human resources and payroll functions. As Director of Operations at the Community Foundation of Greater Clemson and Chair of the Grants Committee, Laurie demonstrated leadership in community initiatives. With extensive experience at Clemson University, Laurie directed the Professional Advancement and Continuing Education office, organizing significant leadership conferences and providing academic support to student-athletes. Laurie holds a degree in English and Sociology from Clemson University.
