Robina Rai

FNPS Graduate Research Association- Vice President at Clemson University

Robina Rai has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Robina started their career as a Lecturer at Assam (Central) University in 2019 and worked there until 2021. Robina then joined The University of Georgia as a Graduate Research Assistant and later became a Research Laboratory Manager. In 2022, Robina joined Clemson University and took on multiple roles, including Graduate Research Assistant, FNPS Graduate Student Association- Media & Outreach, and FNPS Graduate Research Association- Vice President. Robina also became a part of Phi Tau Sigma: The Honor Society of Food Science and Technology, serving as a Creator in the Social Media Committee and a member of the Qualification & Evaluation Committee. Additionally, they served as the Communications Chair at South Eastern IFT (SEIFT) starting from September 2022.

Robina Rai completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Agricultural Engineering from Assam (Central) University from 2013 to 2017. Robina then pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) in Food Process Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Science from Clemson University, starting in 2022 and anticipated to finish in 2025. Additionally, Robina has obtained certifications such as GIS Workshop Series from Clemson Center for Geospatial Technologies, and various data-related certifications from Google.
