Taylor Barclay, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Beginning in 2010, Taylor worked as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at the University of Washington. From 2012 to 2016, Taylor held roles as a Researcher and Research Scientist/Mechanical Engineer at Battelle, focusing on fluid and thermal analysis. During this time, Taylor also took on additional responsibilities such as project management and developing integration methods between software tools.

In 2016, Taylor joined Huntington National Bank as a Decision Analyst, where they evaluated marketing campaigns and bank performance trends to develop data-driven learning agendas and growth strategies. Taylor was later promoted to Senior Decision Analyst - VP, responsible for ensuring testing and production goals were met.

In 2018, Taylor transitioned to Clēnera, a company specializing in solar energy. Taylor's roles at Clēnera included Performance Engineer, Project Engineer, and Project Engineering Manager. As a Performance Engineer, Taylor evaluated site performance, created models, and conducted cost/benefit analysis for operational decisions. In subsequent roles, Taylor focused on solar PV layout and design, energy assessment, and development strategy.

Throughout their career, Taylor has showcased their expertise in engineering principles, analytical and numerical analysis, project management, and data analysis. They have also demonstrated leadership skills through various involvements and achievements at Battelle, including being a member of the Emerging Scientists & Engineers Council and Chair of the Battelle Young Professionals Employee Resource Group.

Taylor Barclay, P.E. holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained between the years 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Gonzaga University from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their educational background, Taylor Barclay obtained the Professional Engineer certification from NCEES in December 2015.
