Madhavi Vemireddy

Madhavi Vemireddy is the Chief Clinical Officer at Cleo. Madhavi has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on population health, clinical program design, and care management products.

Madhavi started their career at ActiveHealth as the SVP of Clinical Research and Development. In this role, they were responsible for leading the clinical research and development team, and overseeing all clinical trials and studies. After 10 years in this role, Madhavi was promoted to EVP, Chief Medical Officer and Head of Product. In this role, they were responsible for leading the product team and developing new products and services.

In 2016, Madhavi left ActiveHealth to join Aetna as the Head of Clinical Program Design and Care Management Products. In this role, they led Aetna’s population health clinical program design, product management and product operations team. Madhavi developed and supported a comprehensive program supporting members who were at risk for chronic conditions and those with chronic conditions across the health spectrum with digital and clinician led services for large employers and health plans.

In 2018, Madhavi left Aetna to co-found CareTribe, an AI powered digital health platform coupled with human expertise that supports family caregivers and their care recipients. Madhavi served as the Chief Operating Officer of CareTribe from 2018 to 2020.

In 2020, Madhavi joined Cleo as the Chief Clinical Officer. In this role, they are responsible for leading the clinical team and developing new products and services.

After completing their MBBS at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in Chennai, Madhavi Vemireddy pursued an internal medicine residency at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital.
