Sophia Lazare

Sophia Lazare currently serves as Group Product Manager at Cleo since July 2023, following a tenure as Lead Product Manager for New Ventures at Barnes & Noble Education, Inc. from January 2021 to July 2023. Sophia began her career in product management at Smartling as a Product Manager from July 2017 to January 2021. Prior experience includes an Education Consultant/Tutor role at SparkPrep, where Sophia designed curriculum and supported marketing efforts, and managing an English language program at The Fulbright Program in Brazil. Additional experience includes a senior associate position at Success Academy Charter Schools, overseeing extracurricular programs for over 11,000 students, and serving as Community Relations Manager. Early roles include teaching English in France through the Ministère de l'Education Nationale. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and French from Northwestern University.
