Isabella Bushen has held various roles in the medical and research fields since 2012. Isabella began their career as a Medical Education Lab Technician and Standardized Patient at the University of Rochester Medical Center. In 2013, they took on the roles of Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative at Wegmans Food Markets. In 2018, they joined Buffalo General Medical Center as a Research Project, working on a team to develop a radio-opaque marker for vascular stents for Dr. Ciprian Ionitas' research on polymeric flow diverting patches. Later that same year, they became a Research Intern at the University of Rochester. In 2021, Bushen joined Clerio Vision, Inc. as a Production Lead and Research Associate.
Isabella Bushen began their educational journey at Monroe Community College, where they studied Physics from 2014 to 2017. Isabella then continued their studies at the University at Buffalo, where they earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from 2017 to 2019.
