Mikael Totterman

Chairman at Clerio Vision

Before founding Clerio Vision, Mike served as the Chief Innovation Officer of iCardiac Technologies.

Prior to that he also was Chairman and CEO of iCardiac, a leading provider of cardiac safety testing services to the global pharmaceutical R&D industry. Mike co-founded iCardiac in 2008 with Alex Zapesochny and Sasha Latypova as a with technology licensed from the University of Rochester. The company was backed by several venture and angel investors.

Mike also has been the Chief Operating Officer and Acting CEO of VirtualScopics Inc., now part of BioTelemetry Research, a leading developer of image-based biomarkers for improving pharmaceutical development. During his tenure at VirtualScopics, he lead several of rounds of venture capital funding as well as striking strategicinvestment relationships with Pfizer, Inc. and GE Healthcare.

Earlier in his career, Mike also served as a principal at 3Com Ventures, a $250 million venture capital fund based in Santa Clara, CA as well as building 3Com’s Network of Global Strategic Alliances with company’s including Philips, Siemens, AT&T and British Telecom. He has also held positions at Boston Consulting Group as well as Gemini Consulting.

Mike received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Stanford University where he was a David Starr Jordan Scholar and his Masters of Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
