Sam Butler

Sam Butler has over 8 years of professional experience in the engineering and construction fields. In 2016, they began their role as Senior Systems Engineer at Clerio Vision, Inc., where they developed and built a laser platform for first-in-human trials. Prior to this, they were a Research Experience for Undergraduates Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, working with graduate students in Dr. Wilson K.S.'s lab. In 2012, they were a Project Management Intern at Consigli Construction, where they assisted the team with daily responsibilities and long-term projects, such as developing a lighting package and creating a comprehensive assessment of the progress towards LEED certification.

Sam Butler completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) - Summa Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2014. Following this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Precision Engineering and Optics from the same university in 2016.
