Abigail Cox is the Deputy Senior Clerk at Clerksroom, having previously worked as a Research Officer at Exodus Market Research and a Legal Advisor at Community Legal Advise & Representation Service.
Abigail started their career as an Intern at The Conservative Party in September 2008, before going on to work as a Research Officer conducting nationwide Government research into the Environment and food waste from January 2012 to May 2012. In September 2010, they took on the role of Legal Advisor at CLARS, working within an advisory and representation team alongside the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group to provide mediation rather than litigation through the courts.
Abigail has always been interested in law and politics, and their experiences interning with The Conservative Party and working on nationwide Government research projects have given their a broad understanding of both. Abigail is passionate about using their skills to help others, which is why they chose to work as a Legal Advisor, and is now using their experience and knowledge to help others as the Deputy Senior Clerk at Clerksroom.
Abigail Cox holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Bristol Law School and a degree in Political Science and Criminology from the University of the West of England, where they achieved a 2:1. Abigail also attended Millfield School.
