Darrin Higgins has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Darrin started their career as a Junior Designer at the Municipal Employees' Retirement System of Michigan in 2007 and worked there until 2010. Following that, they worked at Delicious Design League as a Designer/ScreenPrinter. In 2011, they joined Make as a Designer and later moved to Simple.Honest.Work. as a Lead Designer. In 2013, they took on the role of a Product Designer at The Noun Project and stayed there until 2014. Darrin then worked as a Senior Designer at Some Odd Pilot for a few months before joining Fuzzco as a Designer & Design Director. In 2015, they became the Lead Designer at Clerky, Inc. and is currently working there. Moreover, Darrin also served as a Design Mentor at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2018 to 2021.
Darrin Higgins obtained their Associate's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from Lansing Community College between 2007 and 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design and Applied Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, completing it between 2010 and 2012.
