Benedikt Straňák is an accomplished urban researcher and analyst with extensive experience in conducting research and consultancy projects focused on workspace planning, community, and cultural infrastructure for local and regional governments. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at CLES - Centre for Local Economic Strategies since December 2024, prior positions include Researcher at the New Economics Foundation and Urban Researcher at We Made That LLP, where Benedikt managed diverse projects employing quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Benedikt's background also encompasses research roles at the Town and Country Planning Association and contributions to social equity initiatives, including workshops targeting homophobia and transphobia. Academically, Benedikt holds an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from UCL.
