Naomi Mason

Naomi Mason is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, strategy, and project management within the public and third sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at CLES since January 2024, Mason previously held the position of Strategy Executive at South of Scotland Enterprise. Prior roles include Local Transport Solutions Officer at Development Trusts Association Scotland, where contributions involved supporting pilot projects and developing a volunteering action plan for the Scottish Government. Mason also served as Project Officer for Town Centres at Aberdeenshire Council, successfully delivering numerous projects and securing significant funding, and as Project Manager for a sustainable travel initiative at Huntly and District Development Trust Ltd. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Leeds and a degree from Edinburgh Napier University.
