Mikael Nerde has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Mikael is currently the VP, Head of Customer Engagement at Cleura since December 2019. Previously, they had a long tenure at Stockholm, Sweden where they held multiple roles from October 2001 to January 2022, including VP Business Development & Transformation, Eco-System Design & Strategy, and Partner Success.

Before that, Mikael worked as a Digital Business Advisor and the Former Creator and Director of Sony Developer World at STHLM Digital from January 2018 to August 2019. Mikael'sresponsibilities included delivering strategic digital transformation programs and generating new business across various industries globally. Mikael also gained experience working with prominent companies such as IBM, Ericsson, Google, Apple, Akamai, and Spotify.

Prior to their role at STHLM Digital, Mikael served in different capacities at Akamai Technologies. Mikael was the Head of Mobile Partner Strategy and Market Development EMEA from January 2015 to October 2017, where they defined initiatives, developed commercial models, and recruited strategic partners. Mikael also worked as the Mobile Field Director from August 2011 to December 2014, focusing on extending Akamai's network and offerings into the Mobile Network and Content market through collaboration with Ericsson.

In addition, Mikael was a Coordinator at Mobile Monday Stockholm from May 2010 to August 2012, where they managed operations for the organization. Mikael also founded and directed STHLM Digital, a creative business consulting firm and idea incubator for mobile and social intersection, from October 2009 to December 2011. Furthermore, they served as a Board Member at GlobalFun from May 2009 to September 2010.

Prior to these roles, Mikael worked at Sony Mobile Communications for several years. Mikael held the position of Director, Head of Strategic Partnerships Applications and Content from September 2007 to July 2009, focusing on content acquisition and managing partnerships. Mikael also spearheaded the third-party application and content development program as the Head of Developer Program from October 2001 to August 2007.

Before joining Sony Mobile Communications, Mikael worked at Ericsson as a Business Partner Manager from 2000 to 2001. Here, they identified and established relationships with business partners to drive growth and negotiated agreements. Mikael'sexpertise in partner management resulted in the development of a partner strategy.

Mikael started their career at IBM Corporation as a Dealer Account Manager from March 1996 to December 2000. Mikael was responsible for account development, administration, and proposing solutions for sales associates in the Scandinavian region.

Throughout their career, Mikael Nerde has demonstrated strong leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills, while effectively driving digital transformation and building successful partnerships.

Mikael Nerde completed a Micro Master program in Digital Leadership at Boston University in 2018. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film History from Stockholm University, which they attended from 2009 to 2010. Mikael also holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Blekinge Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 1990 and 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Mikael has obtained several certifications. In January 2019, they received a certification in Digital Business Strategy from MIT Sloan Executive Education. In October 2018, they completed an MBA program from Seth Godin's altMBA. Mikael also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Lean Six Sigma International Association of Professionals, which they obtained in January 2018. In October 2017, they achieved the Scrum Professional Product Owner Level 2 certification from Scrum.org.
