Heather Flowers is an experienced news producer with a career spanning over two decades in the broadcast industry. Since December 1997, Heather has served as a News Producer at WOIO, managing all aspects of the weekday five p.m. news production. Prior experience includes overseeing the development of a Fox start-up newscast at WSYX/WTTE from November 1996 to November 1997, as well as producing segments for WHIO-TV's morning show as an overnight producer in 1996. Heather began in the field as a Production Technician at WDTN-TV and worked as a Researcher and Reporter for The Dayton Business Reporter. Heather holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication from Kent State University.
