Fernando Carranza

Fernando Carranza is a seasoned venture investor currently at Cleveland Avenue since February 2023. Previously, Fernando held the position of Director of Venture Investments and Senior Associate at Digital Currency Group, a subsidiary focused on crypto, blockchain, and DeFi ventures. With experience as an MBA Associate at Dominion Capital, Achieve Partners, and Chingona Ventures, as well as an Impact Investing Associate at Agora Partnerships, Fernando has a strong background in supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs. Fernando's earlier career includes roles at the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where Fernando was General Manager of the LTNtech Founders Incubator, and at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking and KPMG Corporate Finance as an investment banking analyst and associate. Fernando holds an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
